Urgent Last Minute Saturday Ministry Opportunity!

Great ministry opportunity for Sat. Morning!!! Check out this word from our
Helping Hands director Dianna Noyes...

Hey all you fine Christian friends, Helping Hands has a semi sitting in the
parking lot of the church so that we can unload the POD we rented because it
has to be picked up by the fourth. We sent word out last night but just
found out that the connection we sent the word to is out of town, so I truly
apologize for the late request. If we get enough people there it shouldn't
take anymore than an hour and a half or two at the most. We will be meeting
at church at 9 AM to get started. The semi has to be removed tomorrow also
so we have to get it done tomorrow. Again I sorry for the late notice but
hope some of you can come out and help.

Those of you reading this if you have any other email address you can
forward this to, I would really appreciate that too.

Thanks and God Bless

Dianna Noyes

Easter Egg-stravaganza!

Would you prayerfully consider volunteering for our annual Easter
Eggstravaganza, a 2-hour event full of festivities for kids up to grade 5,
held right on our church campus. This year's event will take place on
Saturday, March 24 which is just around the corner. Registration will begin
at 9:45 a.m. and the event will end at 12:00 noon. We are seeking adults
who don't have any children in that age bracket (grade 5 and under) who
would be willing to serve as group leaders (taking groups of kids to their
different stations), station leaders (anywhere from snacks or games to
crafts or egg hunt leaders), and registration and finale workers. If you
love the Lord and love kids, you qualify! If you can serve in this way,
please contact Cindy Camp at ccamp@fuse.net.

“There are no passengers on Spaceship Earth. We are all crew.” ~ Marshall McLuhan. Yep. I’m may be using this quote for quite some time. ‘Time heals all’ but we ain’t there yet. PLEASE use whatever resources you can to help your friends and neighbors in need. If it’s all you’ve got, believe me when I tell you, time and energy are appreciated way more than you may think. Join in on the clean-up effort. Volunteer your services at the Piner Baptist Church at (859) 356-3222 to help. If it’s just taking coffee or lunches to those working in the field, you’ll be helping. If you’re picking up what is now trash and debris, remember, it was someone’s treasures only days ago. Now it’s only memories. HELP: It’s a four-letter word that we don’t use nearly enough.

Dumpsters: For those affected, dumpsters are located in a number of places, including in front of Piner Elementary School, on Parkers Grove Road, on Cruise Creek Road, on Carlisle Road, and at the Wilmington Baptist Church. Residents who need dumpsters delivered may contact Roger Wells, Kenton County Solid Waste Coordinator at (859) 392-1930.

Financial support: The residents of southern Kenton County are in dire need of financial support (monetary donations).

Nicholson Christian Church is located at 1970 Walton Nicholson Pike, Independence, KY  41051. Call (859) 356-7770.

Relief supplies:

· Needed: Work/rubber boots.

· Piner Baptist Church ~ (859) 356-3222: There are plenty of supplies at the Piner Baptist Church, located at 15044 Madison Pike, Morning View, KY 41030. Clothing, food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, water, tarps, roofing nails, basic building supplies, boxes, and much more.

· Twenhofel Middle School: Clothing, food, water and bedding at Twenhofel Middle School for any in the Piner area who need it. At Twenhofel MS, contact Jamie Gastright, Family Resource Center Coordinator.

            · The City of Taylor Mill will be collecting the following items in an effort to support those impacted: NON-Perishable Canned Meats, Individual Juice Bottles, Individual Bottles Gator Aid/Rehydration Fluids, NON-Perishable Canned Foods, NON-Perishable READY to EAT Foods, with Pop Tops, Snack Foods and Cereals, Personal Hygiene Supplies (deodorant, soap, etc.), Over the Counter Medications for adults and kids (such as antacids, pain reliever, anti diarrhea), Dog Food/Cat Food, Boost/Ensure, Garbage Bags, Utility Gloves, Can Openers, Diapers/Formula, Flashlights WITH batteries, Instant drink mixes (coffee, tea, etc.). Donations will currently be accepted through Monday, March 12 at the Taylor Mill City Building M through F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at City of Taylor Mill, 5225 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.  After hour and weekend donations can be dropped off at the Taylor Mill Fire Department.
